National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano

  We want to create balance and harmony that goes beyond what one learns in the school or at home. The Gioadivita Foundation contributes to offering children and young people alternatives to normal school education and professional life-decisions to deveolp their personalities in an alternative school of life. We want to help you create your future. Our name refelects out philosophy:

Gioi – Joy – Freude : Vita – Life – Leben

At the moment, the foundation has three projects, two of which have have been running successfully for a number of years. The third is still in its initial phase and needs financial support to get it off the ground.


The projects:

  Die Wolpertinger - Kindergarten and after school care center
Since September 1997, the "Wolpertinger" has occupied 500 sqm in Munich. The Wolpertinger kindergarten and after school child care center is an oasis for children in the busy city. 25 children from the age of two and a half can play in the kindergarten, and 50 primary school childen are in good care after school in a stimulating environment with lots of space for all sorts of activities. Here, every child can develop in thier own way. All the creative projects and activities are part of our future-oriented, modern child care center. In addition to competent child carers, we work together with artists and musicians on extra projects and theater groups.

  Life Balance Academy, workshop for future skills
Over the thirteen years of building up the child care center, talking with kids at the vacation camp, or experiences gathered when dealing with all the problems and concerns of parents and teachers, Gina Gonsior developed the idea that young people need much more space and time after completing school to discover and develop their own persnalities - more than is possible in familiar surroundings. This is the space and time that the Life Balance Academy offers, as a workcamp to develop future skills.

Here, young people stay for nine to eleven months, free from the pressures of performance and success, and work in team-oriented or individual projects to dicover themselves and develop thier own visions for the future.   Gioiadivita - Vacation camp in Italy
The Foundation’s land Gioiadivita, is loacted in the wonderful National Park and World Heritage Reservation of Cilento, far south in Italy. A paradise for children and young people, an adventure far away from school, town-life and daily stress. Here, one can let go, enjoy the space, nature, whatever the imagination desires.
There is a large camp fire, a tree house that always needs new architects with hammers, saws and drills to add improvements, a swimming pool on site and the seaside is just 30 minutes away by bus. Also two (cheeky) donkeys, dogs and cats who love the attention every year when the childern come for two weeks holiday without their parents.
