We want to create space that compliments and goes beyond normal school and family life, where childern and young people can develop in a holastic, balanced way. The foundation wants to provide an academy of life that goes beyond school and professional training and uses musical and ethical courses, projects and experiences to help young people expand their personality.
The Fondation was esablished by Gina Gonsior on 21 January, 2008. She donated a 4.2 ha piece of land in southern Italy to the foundation. The Foundation was officially recognised by the Bavarian Government on 12 May, 2008, as a non-profit organisation for working with and teaching childern and young people.
The Foundation is represented by Maecenata Manegement under the direction of Rupert von Strachwitz. Decisions concerning projects and future directions are decided upon by the foundation members, who are: Gina Gonsior, Dieter Hoffmann, Gunda Borgeest, Paola Molinari and Dr. Avril Arthur-Goettig. The foundation headquarters are located in Munich, Germany.
